problem in forecast transfer from DP to ECC

Dear Experts

I am facing a problem while transferring forecast from DP to ECC. I followed all steps as recommended by Sap help and in this forum like:-

Created a separate planning book with only 2 std APO key figures of forecast and history.

Created only 2 chars: 9Alocno & 9Amatnr

Only one periodicity (month)

Product split & location split. Forecast entered in DP,

Maintained publication

Activities and Transfer profile created with above planning book. Product and location entered.

Ran the demand planning in background. Got following error:

         Characteristic 100-200  not contained in planning area

For information - 3000 is location, 100-200 is product

I tried various options but all in vain.
