We recently reconfigured our environment, moving to new database server and webserver. Now we are experiencing a few problems that we did not have before. One in particular that I am struggling with is the behavior of dynamic prompts. I can create a list of values in CR Developer; however, when it is displayed on the web via the Viewer, the parameter is only displayed as a textbox.
I'm using CR Developer 2008 SP 6. I do not have access to the server, and I am not sure what version of the viewer we are using. Any easy way to identify the version from the client side? We are connecting to an Oracle database. The connection should be fine, as the report opens and displays values as expected. The only problem is the user must type in the parameter value rather than select it from a list. The prompt uses a table to populate the list. Oh, and the actual report is a subreport. Not sure if that could be an issue.
