All,

I am facing an isssue where user would like to make payment in F110 via the due date.

Scenario:

If today is 10/15/2014. User wants to only payment vendor items due on 10/1/2014. Means that all items that are due between 10/1-10/15 should not be picked up. I have tried different combination i the free selection field like excluding the document date/posting date/baseline date of 10/1-10/15 range but this has not worked perfectly.

Is there a better solution out there? Even a customization will work. Please advise. Thanks.

Dear Experts,

Currently our users always having the problem of duplicating the same document with different DocNum without any prompt messages.

We have found 5 copies of same AP Invoices, 2 copies of same Goods Issue & 5 copies of same SO. Also, there is another 2 same copies of AP Invoices with same Supplier Ref. No. I have checked in the system that Under Document Settings > Per Document, AP Invoice, When duplicated Supplier Reference No. occurs, checked Warning Only but user claimed that she only added the document for once and never see any prompt message on the duplicated Supplier Ref. No.

For the case of 2 same Goods Issue, the user got the following system error message when he tried to add Goods Issue:

“[Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 10.0][SQL Server]The transaction log for database ‘SBO-COMMON’ is full. To find out why space in the log cannot be reused, see the log_reuse_wait_desc column in sys.databases” (SEVT).

I checked the SAP Server and found that Disk C is full and I can only clear some space for the user to add the document. After that the user found that the same Goods Issue has been added for twice.

I have tried to go to SQL Management Studio to find SBO-COMMON’s property. Under Options – Recovery Model, change the value from Full to Simple. Will that solved my problem?

Hi Gurus,

I need separate MRP PR for each requirements of Safety stock and Customer order but both requirements combined and generated single MRP PR.  Kindly provide the solution for the same.

Example :

Stock is available for material 102.70

Safety stock - 200

Customer order - 2.20

One PR is required against safety stock = Safety stock - Stock = 200 -102.70 = 99.30

Another PR is required against Customer order = 2.20

But System is created a single PR of 99.5 for against both requirements.

As the connections are not correctly closed on both sides, after a while the SMP service isn't available anymore. Stopping and restarting the RSOE's solves this problem, but in case this isn't a real good handling.

We tried a lot of things:

• installed an IIS on SMP Server to check the generall connectivity between SMP and Relay - and it was working, without any error
• checked the network and firewall configuration and so on

For the moment we are not sure if there's any apche setting we missed? Do you guys have any hint for these settings or does anyone else had a similar error before?

Because now I want to load two new hierarchies I thought to change this variant

Hi,

We are working on a Process Orchestration setup and have a requirement where in we have to create a PO approval flow in BPM.The incoming data would be coming from an RFC.On receiving the approver code from the RFC,we will use this data to call a BRM table which has the approver name stored.

Based on this,we will send the PO for approval to the approver.On receiving the approval,we will have to update the status back to ECC.

Is there a possibility to import synchronous RFCs in SAP NW BPM?Also,how can we pass the response back to the RFC in this case.Is there an alternative approach we can follow for the same?

Configurations at BW system:

1) Log on to the SAP BW system.
2) Enter T code ‘SALE’ to create new logical system:

3) To create a logical system, choose Define Logical System.

• Enter a name for the logical system that you want to create.
• Enter a description of the logical system.
• Save your entries.

4) Go to Transaction RSA1 to create RFC connection.

5) Select Source Systems in the Modeling navigation pane on the left.

6) Navigate to BO DataServices right click and select create.

7) Enter Logical System Name and Source System Name as shown above and hit Continue.

8) Data Services will start an RFC Server program and indicates to SAP BI that it is ready to receive RFC calls. To identify itself as the RFC Server representing this SAP BI Source System a keyword is exchanged, in the screen shot above it is "BODREP". This is the Registered Server Program, the Data Services RFC Server will register itself with at SAP. Therefore, provide the same Program ID that you want to use for the call of the RFC Server on Data Services side. All other settings for the Source System can remain on the default settings.
To complete the definition of the Source System, save it.

NOTE: We have to use the same Program ID while creating RFC connection in Management Console(BODS).

BO Data Service - Configure a RFC connection

1. Log on to the SAP data services management console system.

2     Expand to the new "SAP Connections" node and open the "RFC Server Interface" item. In the Configuration tab a new RFC Server is added so that it can register itself inside the SAP System with the given PROGRAM_ID.

3     Start the RFC server from tab ‘RFC server interface status” :

BODS job to load data in BW can be executed from both the systems, BODS designer and BW system.

Before Executing the job, We have to do following cofigurations in BW InfoPackage :

Goto BW, Double click on the InfoPackage for respective datasource(ZBODSTGT) and fill the "3rd party selection" details as below and save it.

Repository    : BODS repository name

JobServer     : BODS running jobserver name

JobName     : BODS job name

Job Execution from BW system: Right click and execute infopackage. It will trigger BODS job which will load the data into BW datasource.

OR

Double click on InfoPackag, go to ‘Schedule’ tab and click on start:

Job Execution from BODS designer: Go to BODS designer, Right click on the BODS job and Execute.

Verifying Data in BW :

1. Go to Datasource and right click go to Manage :

When we execute the job, it will generate a request for data extraction from BODS :

2     Select latest request and click on PSA maintenance which will show the data in target datasource.

After loading data to BW datasource, it can be mapped and loaded to any BW target like DSO or Cube using process chain in “Schedule” tab of InfoPackage:

Hello experts,

I've been asked to make a report Zxxx which makes a submit to report FAGL_ACCOUNT_ITEMS_GL and returns a list with all the data. My Zxxx report can be executed online or in background, I have a radiobutton to select online or background. If I run it in foreground with an "small" variant it works fine. When I run it in background, I create a new job that calls Zxxx report and get the result. The problem is when I run Zxxx in foreground with a "huge" variant. I get MEMORY_NO_MORE_PAGING error. If I use the background option provided by SAP: programa -> execute in background, it also works fine (but I don't get the required internal table with all the data I need).

Which can be the problem for this dump ?

Hi All,

There is a requirement to make line item of table as drop down option.

Is it possible select a particular line item in table in persona. In edit mode when I click on particular line item, it selects whole column not that line item.

As it is not selecting that line item so not giving option to change control.

If I try to add to the Planning List a person, it shows me this filter settings error.

How to fix this?

Is there any status for that employee that does not allow him to be added?

does ANYONE has any knowledge on inbound  queue processing as currently we are facing data lock issue.We are receiving data in POSD thorugh Idocs and it is immediately posted in tlogs/posdw/Mon0 as we have set immediate in partner profile.

Please tell how we can sue inbound queue and posdw/qdis and other things.

What are the different steps involve in it and I don't think we need to do anything in configutation.posdw/img

Hi,

everyone who knows the push production functionality knows that we can select for a bom component the Products (PDS) in which this components goes in as a bom component.

example:

level 1: End Product: 1510

level 2:SF 1601 - bom component of 1510

level 3: SF 3201 - bom component of 1601

level 4: SF 7810 - bom component of 3201

level 5: raw material - 1001 - bom component of 7810

I am facing a situation with five bom levels. The planners often check the available qty of a component in the lowet bom level and based on that decide what qty of the end product (top level) they will produce. They do it currently in excel.

This looks like the push functionality but used for the lowest level to check the possible output qty of the top level, not the next one as it is possible in APO with the "push production". Looking at the example above this would be like entering the push production with raw material 7810 in order to check what qty of the end product 1510 can I produce based on the availabl eqty of the raw material 7810.

Question: is this somehow possible? is there any user exit / badi to enable such a check in push production?

Or should they use a different approach for this in APO?

I am  getting below exception while releasing activity from NWDS.

There are 2 predecessor activities which were not released due to some reason.Now if I am releasing current changes it is taking predecessor too and giving exception.  we are unable to find out that are we getting exception because of predecessor activities or is there any other issue.

Is there any way to delete those predessor activities?

Hello everyone,

When I copied Sales Order to Delivery, Item Cost of some Item wasn't showed. But when I created a new Delivery (didn't copy from Sales Order), item cost was showed. Inventory method is Moving Average. SAP 8.82. I don't know why? Could you help me please? Thank you very much.
